Western New England University offers you a strong sense of community. Our small class sizes encourage you to contribute your ideas and be a part of the discussion. Our size also means there is something for everyone to get involved with and for you to take on leadership roles. We also espouse a healthy lifestyle, encouraging you to take advantage of opportunities to stay fit and have fun.
Over the course of four years, you will change. That's why we have created a residential life experience that changes with you. Your first year is about becoming immersed in our community, so you will share a traditional room in our campus Quad. Sophomore year you can live in suites to expand your connections. Junior and senior years you will spend in apartments and townhouses as you learn to cook and manage a household as you prepare for life after Western New England University.
Western New England University is located in Springfield, Massachusetts, in the heart of the beautiful Pioneer Valley, yet an easy drive to Hartford, Boston, New York City, or the college towns of Amherst and Northampton. Skiing, biking, shopping, Six Flags New England—we've got it all.
The Office of Cultural Education and Inclusion works hard to build and encourage an inclusive environment that seeks to celebrate and utilize people's differences and similarities as a means of self awareness and development. It is our goal to appreciate all people, not to tolerate, but to appreciate.
